This $800,000 remodel of a very busy rest area on Highway 60 just southeast of Worthington, MN, was completed in just 6 months. The work
involved a complete interior remodel including a new unisex handicap toilet
room, replacement of all plumbing fixtures, toilet partitions, toilet
accessories, and reception desk in lobby. Extensive improvements were made to
the site, including a new playground with rubber surfacing, a closed dog run
area, new parking lot curb and gutter, sidewalks, and lighting. Joseph and
superintendent Paul Hirsch received high marks from the Minnesota Department of
Transportation (MNDOT) for their performance. |
