Austin Public Library

Location

Austin, MN

A new library for Austin had been a dream for many years.  The Joseph Company helped to make that dream come true.  The new library’s exterior is a multi-colored brick with accents in stone and custom-designed aluminum fascia.  The project combines decorative masonry, miscellaneous metals, a special floor, gyp board soffits, and millwork.

The interior design of the building allows for smoother workflow and more efficient use of space and staff time.  The 26,000 SF building is entirely on one level making it entirely handicap accessible.

This beautiful building has become a center of civic pride for the city of Austin.  Joseph was recognized with an Award of Excellence from the Associated Builders and Contractors of America for this Austin landmark.
